The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has yet again proved its undeterred support in Nigeria’s fight against drug trafficking and consumption of illicit drugs.

In this light, the Customs command in Kebbi State handed over illicits drugs seized from suspected drug barons to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Among the items handed over to the NDLEA were 632kg of Indian hemp and 199 sachets of 1,000 pieces Diazapam (5mg) tablets.

The handover which took place in place in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday, had in attendance Comptroller Hafiz Kalla of the Customs Service and Peter Odaudu, the NDLEA commandant in the state.

The gruesome shooting of a Bolt driver, Moses Adoyi, by a purported passenger has left him fighting for his life at the National Hospital in Abuja.

It was gathered that a car snatcher who posed as a potential passenger had ordered the services of Adoyi via the ride-hailing app, a trip the driver was reluctant to embark on.
